Bible Study Learning Path: Know Jesus, Learn from Jesus, Live as His Disciple

Don’t know where to start?

We will help guide you through each lesson, step by step.

Why This Learning Path Is Important

1. Knowing Jesus

"Who is Jesus?"

This first stage focuses on the person and work of Jesus Christ—His birth, ministry, death, and resurrection.

Why it is important:

  • Faith begins with knowing who Jesus is, not simply learning religious principles.

  • Understanding Christ's identity as Savior, Lord, and Son of God provides the foundation for all Christian belief.

  • The events of Jesus' life reveal God's love, grace, power, and plan of salvation.

  • New believers need a clear understanding of the gospel before they can fully appreciate Christian discipleship.

  • Jesus taught that eternal life begins with knowing Him and the Father (John 17:3).

Result: Learners gain confidence in who Jesus is and what He accomplished through His life, death, and resurrection.

2. Learning from Jesus

"What did Jesus teach?"

After learning about Jesus, believers are ready to study His teachings, parables, and instructions.

Why it is important:

  • Jesus is not only Savior but also Teacher.

  • His parables reveal truths about God's Kingdom, faith, repentance, forgiveness, and obedience.

  • His teachings help believers understand God's values and priorities.

  • Learning Christ's teachings transforms the mind and shapes a biblical worldview.

  • Understanding Jesus' words prepares believers to make wise spiritual decisions.

Result: Learners develop biblical understanding and begin seeing life through the lens of Christ's teaching..

3. Living as a Disciple

"How should I live because I follow Jesus?"

The final stage focuses on applying Jesus' teachings to everyday life.

Why it is important:

  • Knowledge without obedience does not produce spiritual maturity.

  • Jesus called people not merely to hear His words but to put them into practice.

  • Christian growth requires transformation of character, attitudes, priorities, and actions.

  • Topics such as anger, worry, stewardship, holiness, and citizenship help believers navigate real-life challenges.

  • Discipleship moves faith from theory to daily living.

Result: Learners become active followers of Christ whose lives reflect His character and teachings.
